How I Create Backlinks Quickly Without Outsourcing – Part 1

Go to Part 2
Go to Part 3(big shortcut)

So a lot of people from the BTF Forums have been asking me for information about the scripts that I uploaded for semi-automating my backlinking process. So I decided to make a series of videos demonstrating my process. This video is an overview. I show a few examples of me going through my process on a launch jacking website I am currently working on. I have used this exact process to successfully rank on the top page of Google for some very competitive and high traffic keyword phrases.

NOTE – The Google script is outdated, and I stopped using it. I started creating custom email addresses in cPanel each time instead, since it is a whole lot faster.

For my backlinks source, I use Paul’s Backlinks and Angela’s Backlink Packets. Angela’s backlink packets include a little bit higher PageRank sites, but they also generally require a more involved process. I find that Paul’s backlinks are easier and faster to use. I generally use Paul’s backlinks, unless I am working on a particularly competitive keyword phrase. In that case, I will go through the extra effort with Angela’s backlinks.

In the next video, I will be going into more detail on setting up the specific tools I use in this video and my script for creating multiple gmail accounts to aid with multiple profiles.

Hi, Excellent content. Your course should be worth checking out if you go into as much detail as this. The only thing that I heard on the WF from Angela herself was that many people buy her packets then outsource them on Freelancer to an army of outsourcers. Which means these forums get hit hard, as a result your link gets taken down as fast as you put them up. Do you think that’s true?
    thanks santiago

Thanks Santiago. Sorry, for some reason this comment got caught up in my spam filter. I don’t think it’s an issue, because they generally only check your profile right when you first sign up. If you wait a day or two or even a week to add your links, they’ll probably never even notice them. Plus most forums don’t even bother to check.

Sure some of your profiles will be deleted, but so what? You’ll have plenty of others, and most of your links will be there to stay.

    Hi Rob,

Just found this video series from the BTF forums. Excellent stuff man! I really appreciate the info in this video and the time it took you to make it.

    Thanks,

  12. Rob Jones says:

Thanks everyone, I’m glad you’re all enjoying the videos. I’ve got a lot more to come, so if you haven’t subscribed to my list yet, I try to send out regular emails with more videos at least 2-3 times a week.

  13. Anthony says:

    Thanks Rob.
Question: why do you use the ‘visitor’ box to put links in? Is that because those sites don’t have the typical signature links option?

  14. Rob Jones says:

Hi Anthony, that’s right. Forums vary. Sometimes they will make the signature unviewable on your profile. Sometimes they will make the bio box nofollow. You basically want to find the spot that is dofollow and publicly viewable.

If you’re using Paul’s($8/month for 50) or Angela’s backlink packets($5/month for 30) that’s pretty easy, because they tell you exactly what to do in the link packets with picture instructions.

  15. Darrin says:

Hi Floyd,uh I mean Rob,these techniques look pretty much like spam.If you don’t “disguise” yourself, will they try to take legal action against you,or just boot you,and be done? Anyway, not a criticism, just a noob worry! Awesome in depth lesson! Thanks

    • Rob Jones says:

That’s a valid question Darrin. You’re not the first to ask this. From a legal standpoint, there’s nothing to worry about. Spam, as in the FTC’s CAN-SPAM act, applies to unsolicited email, more specifically “any electronic mail message the primary purpose of which is the commercial advertisement or promotion of a commercial product or service.” It does not apply to forum profiles. Here’s a link to the FTC’s information page on the CAN-SPAM act:

In a broader sense of the word however, these profile links do have a bit of a “spammy” feel to them. You are creating profiles on forums with no intent of providing any value to the community. However, people create profiles all the time on forums, and many of them never contribute to the communities. Your forum links are only spam by the strictest definition of the word, and they are really doing no harm.

Think about it. The amount of space it takes up on a server for your profile is negligible. You aren’t posting any spammy comments on the forum. You are doing nothing to degrade the user experience of other members. If 5000 people created profiles tomorrow on a forum, it would have virtually no effect on the user experience in that forum. All you have done is create a profile on a public forum that encourages new users.

A better question might be how long will Google consider these types of profile links high value? I think Google will continue to value these types of links, because Google values community discussion, and these forums are a great source of high quality, relevant content on the web. It’s more likely that the forum platforms will implement stricter safeguards against these types of things. However, many of them already are in place, and forum administrators just don’t bother to use them, because these types of profile backlinks really just don’t pose much of a problem to the forums, unless they are extremely anal about this sort of thing. Worst case scenario, they’ll delete your profile and your IP address will be blocked by that forum from creating any more profiles. This rarely happens, and even if it does, it’s really not that big a deal.

By the way, this Monty Python sketch from the 70′s is where the term spam as it is used today originated. Funny stuff:

  19. Carl says:

    Hi Rob,
Can’t use script with gmail. I’m getting info that there no site that I want to visit. How can I fix that?

    • Rob Jones says:

Sorry about that Carl. This thread is a bit old, and the script is outdated.

I actually recommend you skip Gmail now and just create an email address in your cPanel account. You can create unlimited emails very fast. The Gmail script actually only speeds things up a little bit, and Gmail changes their signup page too often to keep it updated. Plus you’ll get higher success rates signing up at forums with “real” email addresses, rather than free email addresses.
